Congrats to Jim Filipowski of Brighton, MI for his dominating performance at the NSCA opener at Belle Rose, LA! Jim qualified first with a 7.917 at 183.19 mph in Drag Radial which was almost a full second quicker and 30 mph faster than the second place qualifier -- and that's in a stock suspension car! Jim won the event with a Precision 101mm single turbo and now leads in Drag Radial points!

John Kolivas made some noise during the same weekend with a ruuner-up finish in NMRA Drag Radial points in just his second ever appearance in NMRA! John used a Precision GT4785 to qualify with the best MPH of any turbo car and looks to run the entire NMRA schedule. Look for this guy to contend for the class championship and Rookie of the Year honors both!
