Hebron, Indiana - January 1, 2017 - PRECISION TURBO AND ENGINE Celebrates its 30th Anniversary!
It all started when Harry Hruska wanted to make some extra cash to fund his road-racing hobby. In 1987 he founded Precision Distributors that specialized in fuel injection and engine management systems. By 1989 Harry's clients started setting world records, beginning with John Lingenfelter and his Bonneville Land Speed record setting Firebird Trans Am producing 1,400 HP at 298 MPH.
In 1993 Harry resigned from his full time position at Garrett Turbo to put all of his time and energy into growing the company, and incorporated changing the name to Precision Turbo and Engine Rebuilders Inc.
"I had a great corporate position, but decided in 1993 that it was time to control my own destiny and risk going full time with my own business," Hruska said. "My supplementary income became my primary income. At one point, about ten years later, our family broke even after financing everything we owned. It was a lot of hard work and sacrifices, working seven days a week for many, many years".
Needless to say that it was all worth it, because over the next 20+ years Hruska grew the company to over 50 employees and expanded into a manufacturing facility of over 37,000 square feet. Harry also continued to build Precision's amazing customer base with over 200 class champions and 300 record holder customers worldwide!

Precision Turbo and Engine will continue to grow the business with even higher levels of performance, quality, and attention to detail throughout the next 30 years.
